On Monday, January 14, the mayor of Nerja, Rosa Arrabal presented the poster for Nerja’s Carnival 2019, which will be held from February 28 to March 3, 2019.

“Soñé con ser Nerja, soñé con ser Carnaval”

The poster’s artist, José Alberto Jiménez Pastrana from Linares in Jaén, has named his colorful creation “Soñé con ser Nerja, soñé con ser Carnaval”, I dreamed of being Nerja, I dreamed of being Carnival.

This lovely poster reflects many iconic spots in Nerja including the Nerja Caves, which is a reminder of the Caves 60th anniversary this year.
